I remember as a kid in Auckland my father told me on more than one occasion that if Auckland were playing well then the All Blacks would play well. Admintedly this was before the days of Super 12 or Super 14 so it was based soley on the NPC but to date its been fairly true.

That being the case all bodes well for the forthcoming World Cup. The Blues have looked like the most comfortable team in the Super 14 this year and will certainly make it to he finals. This weeks thrashing of the Waratahs was a fine demonstration of a team that is playing as a team and a damn fine one at that.

It will be interesting to see how the Blues travel in SA. Personally I think it will be a forgone conclussion that they will emerge victorious and after winning the Super 14, will provide the All Blacks with the backbone of an unbeatable world cup squad.

In moving all my Joomla! development to Joomla! 1.5 a funny thing happened about a week ago that I only just firured out.

With out warning everything 1.0.x went pear shaped after an update from the Joomla! 1.5 trunk repository. Fortunately a chance conversation with Louis revealed a Configuration setting that too date I had missed.

"Enable Legacy Mode" - Its currently turned off by default and you'll be lucking if any Joomla! 1.0.x extensions will run unless you turn it back on. Once enabled everything was back to normal.

I guess the really cool thing is that if you want to force yourself to develope purely for Joomla! 1.5 you can leave it off.

All seems rather predictable especially if your a one eyed All Blacks supporter like myself.  But so as not to risk jinxing the All Blacks I'm not going to predict a massive win against the Wallabies this weekend ;)Here's hoping for a great game!

I have just installed Blogg X and have to say its come a long way since I first had a look. This entry has been entered using it and its a breeze to say the least. I would suggest anyone wanting a simple method of adding content to their Joomla! site give it a run... I'm on windows but there is also a Mac version so everyone is catered for.
