J! Progress is an extremely simple and easy to use component/module combo that produces progress bars for projects etc. Installation of both the Module and the Component is via Joomla!'s standard install procedure. Once you have installed them both navigate to Components/J!Progress in the admin area.The first creen you will be greated with is the listings page.

Listings Page 

The listing page lists any progress bars already set up. From here you can do several things.

Actions

• To create a new bar click "New" in the top toolbar.
• To edit a progress bar either click the Name of the bar you wish to edit or tick the check box and click "Edit" in the top toolbar. 
• To re-order the display of the bars click either the up or down arrow for the bar you wish to move.
• To publish or unpublish a bar click the icon under the table heading "Published". You may publish/unbublish mutliple bars by ticking the bars you wish to change and then clicking either "Publish" or Unpublish" in the toolbar menu.

New/Edit Screen

This screen is what you'll get when creating a new bar or editing and existing one.

Fields

Name :: The title that will appear against the bar.

Version :: A version number, handy for software development.

Complete :: The percentage of progress, this will determin the bar reading.

Fill Colour :: The colour of the completed part of the bar.

Border Colour :: The colour of the outside border of the bar. 

Background Colour :: The inner background colour of the bar. 

All colours should be in hex.

By clicking the icon to the right of any of the colour fields you'll get a handy colour picker to help you slect the right colour.
